Activair was born on June 1st 1978 in London, England just on the edge of Heathrow airport. The business was, and still remains to this day, privately owned with the 2 main shareholders still very much on board. Since day 1 Activair were innovative and gave customers something never seen before, from very early on we were able to deliver clients quick and effective services for the same cost as was then post or sea monthly movements. Our desire remains the same today - talk to our clients, listen to their needs and, wherever possible, deliver above and beyond what is asked for.

We have not stopped moving forward and nor will we, now offering Air, Road and Sea plus all Distribution requirements possible. Our network of Activair offices and long term partners span the globe, all delivering the ethos of “Customer Driven Forwarding”, and through this we have become one of the largest privately owned forwarding companies, employing over 300 direct staff in 15 worldwide locations.

Activair, with the additions of Activroad and Activsea, is a major player on all forwarding transport modes. We work at all major airports, ports and have trucks crossing Europe daily, showing that many good ideas do not go out of fashion.
